As you are all well aware, my colleagues at CSU-Pueblo and myself, as well at my Music Studio here in Pueblo, have been working diligently to find effective solutions for teaching our students in this COVID-19 period. I am teaching most of my string and piano students online and have just recently started "Patio Lessons" where we are socially-distanced and outside in the fresh air for as long as the weather permits. we were also able to be together in three Magical Musical Art Workshops in August on the Patio.

The plan will be to move indoors as we progress into Fall and Winter in a larger teaching space where we can maintain distance and wear our masks to remain safe if some students prefer face-to-face lessons. I will be continuing online lessons as well, of course. I have to say that surprisingly enough, my students have adapted quickly to having our lessons online and have been progressing steadily which is good news for all of us.
